Skiing in Whistler
We haven't skied a lot recently in Whistler so we thought we should get at least one day in! We went with a bunch of friends, Tim organized a place to stay in the middle of Whistler.
We did fresh tracks: You go up before the first gondola for the normal ski service starts and you have a breakfast on top of the mountain.
We tried to ski a bit out of bounds. We used to do this track a lot when we had a season pass so we thought we know the area, well, it was quite hard work.
After about one hour we got to the bottom of the hill.
We also took the new gondola, the longest span in the world (at least that's what they blame it to be). Here is a link: wiki
